I’ve been looking around for a while for a phone service that can just do some good call forwarding and I found VirtualPBX.con. This provides some killer “big business” functionality for a very reasonable price. For as little as 9.95 a month you can have your own PBX with “follow me” calling and “auto distribution” groups. Essentially “follow me” allows you to specify numorous phone numbers, and the sytem tries each one until it finds you. The “auto distribution” means you can distribute certain kinds of calls amoungst several people, sales calls for instance can be evenly distributed to each of your sales people.

Anyway, they give a really good online demo that takes about half an hour but its well worth it. I’ve signed up and will provide some further reports when i’ve been using it a while.
